It’s CNC-machined for high precision and uses a 3/4″ Weldon shank (with 2 flats) to help ensure secure clamping. The edge finish is designed to support smooth, reamed, burr-free hole edges when used with firm, steady pressure.
Usage notes: This series is intended for drilling single layers of material only (not multiple stacked layers). To help avoid premature failure—especially with smaller cutters—use a low feed rate when first engaging the workpiece, then increase once the bit is about 2–3 mm in. Secure the workpiece firmly; if the workpiece is less than 1/2″ thick, use a 3/8″ steel sheet underneath so the magnetic drill can grip securely.
Compatibility is broad across many mag drill brands (including Alfra, BDS, Dewalt, Fein, Euroboor, Hougen, and Ruko). If you plan to use it on a drill press instead of a mag drill, you’ll need an extra annular cutter arbor (not included).
